Roles and responsibilities of PRMC

Internal Communication:

  • Reporting events, happenings, and achievements to the administration, faculty, and student community. 
  • Managing internal newsletters and communication channels to keep everyone informed. 

External Communication:

  • Fostering community relations with external stakeholders through media relations activities. 
  • Engaging with print media and facilitating the college's online presence. 
  • Preparing press releases and news items for external media outlets. 
  • Inviting press and media to college events and Managing social media presence and content creation. 

Event Coverage and Promotion:

  • Covering college events, student achievements, and campus life. 
  • Organizing college-level functions like convocation, annual day, and alumni events. 
  • Promoting the college through advertisements and promotional materials. 

Public Relations:

  • Serving as the official spokesperson of the college. 
  • Developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the college's reputation. 
  • Handling inquiries related to admissions, campus life, and other college-related matters. 

Coordination:

  • Coordinating with other college committees and departments. 
  • Working with faculty and staff to ensure effective communication. 

 

Media Relations:

  • Building relationships with local media outlets. 
  • Providing regular reports and press releases on campus news and opportunities.
